Please read these terms carefully before placing your order.

PRODUCT TYPES

Ready to Ship
Items held in stock and available for immediate dispatch.

Vintage
One off pieces sold as seen, with wear and character consistent with age.

Made to Order
Products made to Trove’s standard design, dimensions and standard finish options.

Custom
Products made to Trove’s standard design and dimensions, but in a customer specified finish outside Trove’s standard finish offering. Custom colour orders should be specified using a RAL or NCS reference.

Bespoke
 Products based on a Trove design where dimensions or specifications have been altered from the standard product offering.

 

1. Order Confirmation

Please review your proforma invoice carefully before making payment. By making payment, you confirm that all details shown on the proforma are correct and approved for production, including:

  • Product(s) ordered

  • Finish, colour and fabric selections

  • Dimensions and configuration

  • Quantity

  • Delivery address

  • Any bespoke requirements

Payment of the proforma invoice constitutes confirmation and acceptance of the order as detailed on the proforma.

 

2. Production & Lead Times

Quoted lead times begin from receipt of payment and confirmation of the order.

For products using COM (Customer’s Own Material), production cannot commence until the required fabric has been received and approved by Trove. In these instances, quoted lead times begin once the approved material has been received.

Lead times are estimates only and shall not be deemed contractual delivery dates.

Whilst every effort is made to meet quoted lead times, delays may occur due to production schedules, material availability, shipping delays or circumstances outside of Trove’s control.

Delays shall not entitle the customer to cancel an order, refuse delivery or claim compensation unless otherwise required by law or agreed by Trove in writing.

Should Trove become aware of any material change to the estimated lead time, we will endeavour to notify the customer as soon as reasonably practicable.

 

3. Colour, Finish & Samples

Colour and finish samples are intended as a guide only.

For Custom orders, colours should be specified using a RAL or NCS reference.

Trove works to agreed colour standards and tolerances with its manufacturing partners; however, slight variations may occur between samples, showroom pieces and finished goods due to differences in production batches, workshops, materials and application methods.

Where colour consistency is particularly important, finish approval samples can be provided prior to production. Additional lead times and charges may apply.

 

4. Natural Materials & Craftsmanship

Our products are made by skilled craftspeople using traditional techniques and natural materials.

Slight variations in timber grain, texture, pattern placement, brush marks, stitching, patina and finish are an inherent part of the product and should not be considered defects.

Natural materials such as timber, stone, leather and textiles will vary from piece to piece.

 

5. Delivery & Access

Customers are responsible for ensuring products will fit through all access points including doorways, staircases, lifts and corridors.

Any additional costs arising from restricted access, failed deliveries or re-delivery requirements may be chargeable.

6.Inspection Upon Delivery

All goods should be inspected upon receipt.

Any damage, shortages or concerns must be reported to Trove in writing within 48 hours of delivery and supported by photographs where applicable.

Goods should not be installed, altered or used before inspection has taken place.

 

7. Storage

Where goods remain undelivered for more than 14 days after notification that they are ready for dispatch, Trove reserves the right to apply reasonable storage charges.

 

8. Force Majeure

Trove shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, material shortages, transport disruption, industrial action, fire, flood, epidemic, pandemic or governmental restrictions.

 

9. Returns & Cancellations

Returns and cancellation rights vary by product type.

Payment of this proforma invoice constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions.
