Caring for Your Bed Linen
Our bed linen is chosen for its natural softness, quiet strength and lived-in elegance. With a little care, it will become even more beautiful over time.
First Wash
-
Before first use, we recommend washing to allow the fibres to settle and soften.
-
Wash items separately by colour – whites, lights, and darks – and avoid mixing with garments that have zips, hooks or hardware.
-
Ensure everything is unfolded before placing in the machine.
-
Start with a warm cycle (up to 60°C) and add a colour catcher. From then on, we suggest a cooler wash.
Ongoing Care
-
Use a gentle liquid detergent – one that’s free from bleach, brighteners or harsh chemicals.
-
Avoid powders and always make sure detergent is fully diluted before touching the fabric.
-
Once washed, remove promptly and give each piece a soft shake to help ease out creases.
Drying & Pressing
-
Line dry where possible, avoiding direct sunlight to protect both whites and colours.
-
If tumble drying, use a low heat and remove while still slightly damp.
-
Steam or warm iron as needed – we recommend pressing embroidery on the reverse, while still damp, for the best finish.
-
There’s no need for starch.
Fit & Feel
Our linen is cut with care to allow for light natural shrinkage after the first wash – ensuring a softly tailored fit from then on.
