The Speakeasy Salon at WOW!house 2026

This June, our sisters at Studio Duggan make their WOW!house debut at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour. We are excited to reveal their Speakeasy Salon, created in collaboration with Black Edition by Romo.

WOW!house has become one of the most anticipated moments in the interiors calendar; providing an opportunity for designers to build fully realised spaces that capture not only a visual aesthetic, but a feeling. For Tiffany Duggan, the starting point this year was atmosphere.

The imagined client was “a chic Italian woman living in a grand apartment”; someone drawn to layered interiors, collected objects and rooms with a quiet sense of drama. From there, the scheme evolved into a richly textured salon that balances intimacy with scale, and softness with structure.

At the heart of the room is a deep chocolate brown linen blend by Black Edition by Romo, used to wrap and upholster the walls. The fabric immediately set the tone for the scheme: grounding, enveloping and deeply tactile. To soften the moodiness, Tiffany and the team introduced a pale tented ceiling in a contrasting matte fabric, creating a sense of lightness overhead while preserving the cocooning quality of the room.

An olive green carpet by Jennifer Manners anchors the palette beneath, bringing depth and subtle contrast to the space.

The room features a selection of Trove designs, including the Tiger Large Mirror, Speakeasy Armchair and Holden Desk in our new Pistachio Birdseye Maple finish, as well as a first look at two forthcoming additions to the collection: the Toadstool and the Penelope Ottoman

The salon itself has been carefully divided to create moments of discovery. A concealed bar sits behind a partition wall, wrapped in an embroidered seagrass wallpaper newly developed by Romo. The walls of the bar have been curved deliberately, allowing the pattern to move fluidly around the space while enhancing the immersive quality of the room.

“There’s something very important about creating a room that reveals itself gradually,” Tiffany explains. “We wanted it to feel intriguing - slightly magical even -  where the longer you spend in the space, the more details emerge.”

Alongside bespoke elements created for the project, several Trove designs have been incorporated throughout the salon. The Speakeasy Armchair makes for a cosy lounge spot in the corner, opposite our soon-to-launch Holden Desk in Pistachio, shown for the first time in a Pistachio bird’s eye maple veneer. Sculptural yet restrained, the piece reflects the balance that sits at the centre of both Studio Duggan and Trove: decorative but liveable, expressive yet grounded. The inclusion of Trove pieces within the scheme feels particularly natural. Visitors will also recognise the Large Tiger Mirror - and we are excited to launch the Penelope Ottoman, the Toadstool and our Floating Console shelf - products inspired and designed and specially for WOW! House.

Born from the interiors world of Studio Duggan, Trove exists to bring that same layered, soulful visual language into everyday living through furniture and homeware with real depth and character.
